  1. Your mind has a lot to do with sports then people realize. They think just becuase they are built physically that it’s all they need. These are the people who end up chocking big time. This is something they should teach in gym class along with the physical activity.

  2. There’s two important parts of you at play when you’re performing sports, your body, and your mind. Both of those parts have to be in optimum conditions in order to perform to your best capability as an athlete. You can have your body trained to the best that it can be, but if your mind is clouded chances are you will not perform as well as a competitor. Blaming the sport or conditions that day is just an excuse.

  3. My sports psychologist talked with me and we worked on a meditation routine for me to use before games. I thought at first it was going to be a huge waste of time, but now I really find that I get great use from the time that I’ve spent with them, and the time that I spend in deep meditation before my games.
